Maruti Suzuki India Limited had a huge announcement on Friday as they stated their record-breaking highest-ever sales for August.
Maruti Suzuki India Limited’s MSI Senior Executive Officer Shashank Srivastava said, "In August we have become number one in the SUV segment on a cumulative basis that is from April-August," He went on to add, "So our long-term cherished target of being number one player in the SUV space is on track (for this fiscal),"
With a great month, Maruti Suzuki’s SUV sales for August were 41,658 units, on the other hand, Mahindra & Mahindra another great player in India’s Automaker industry recorded sales of 37,233 units.
This gap in SUV sales has made Maruti Suzuki number 1. In India's SUV league!
