The spy photo also provides a detailed view of the XUV e9’s exterior, revealing a distinctive and sleek design. The front end features vertically-stacked LED headlights and daytime running lights (DRLs), similar to those seen in earlier prototypes. The vehicle's coupe-like silhouette is emphasized by a sloping roofline that seamlessly blends into the rear, giving it a sporty, modern look.

High-Tech Interior with Premium Touchscreen Setup

Inside the cabin, the standout feature is the trio of equally-sized digital displays, a layout commonly found in premium vehicles. One screen is dedicated to the front passenger, offering personalized infotainment options. The central screen is expected to manage most of the vehicle's tech features, while the third display, positioned behind the steering wheel, is likely to include Mahindra’s AdrenoX infotainment system, which is already used in the XUV700 model.

Further details from the spy shot reveal a separate control panel for the climate system, featuring physical buttons and two rotary dials located beneath the air vents. The center console appears to include a rotary drive mode selector and a wireless charging pad, adding to the vehicle's premium feel.

The XUV e9 is expected to be built on Mahindra’s new INGLO platform, specifically designed for its upcoming electric vehicles such as the BE.05. This platform supports flat battery packs integrated into the floorboard and can accommodate battery sizes ranging from 60 kWh to 80 kWh. The XUV e9 is anticipated to house the larger battery option, offering fast charging capabilities of up to 175 kW and a driving range of around 500 kilometers on a single charge.
