By selling its final gas-powered supercar at a Paris auction for more than $10 million, or approximately 88 crores, French luxury carmaker Buggati has established a new record.
According to CNN, the one-of-a-kind Buggati Chiron Profile was sold on Wednesday at the RM Paris collector car auction for a bid of $9.5, but after fees to the auction house, the final selling price was approximately $10.7 million.
In just 2.3 seconds, the supercar can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour, or 62 miles per hour. It is the fastest Chiron model and can reach 200 kilometers per hour, or 124 miles per hour, in 5.5 seconds.
According to Bugatti, the Profilee is the Chiron model with the fastest acceleration.
