The highly anticipated BMW XM Label has officially arrived in India, sparking excitement among auto enthusiasts. However, there’s a significant catch that might disappoint potential buyers. The XM Label is a limited version with only 500 units delivered globally, and India has been allotted just one unit. This select high-performance plug-in hybrid comes with a strong price tag of Rs 3.15 crore, leaving only one lucky buyer in the country the chance to claim it. The XM Label is available as a completely built unit (CBU).

BMW XM Label's Exterior
The BMW XM Label's design is a showstopper, featuring solid extents and the bold styling typical of BMW’s Sports Activity Vehicles (SAVs). The exterior comes in BMW Frozen Carbon Dark Metallic, complemented by Toronto Red Metallic accents on the kidney grille and rear diffuser, adding an elegant touch.
The illuminated Iconic Glow kidney grille further upgrades the vehicle’s confident position. Its sporty appeal is heightened by 22-inch M light-alloy wheels and red M Sports Brake calipers.
Luxurious Insides with Elite Touches
The luxurious insides of the XM Label mirrors the striking exterior with a dark and red color scheme and premium materials. The Fiona Red/Black Merino leather upholstery gives a rich, high-end feel. Exclusive design features such as diamond-shaped segments on the seat backrests and a “1 of 500” plaque emphasize the car’s rarity and elegance.
The specific M cockpit includes M multifunction seats, carbon inserts on the gearshift paddles, a BMW Curved Display, and an M leather steering wheel, upgrading the sporty driving experience. Furthermore, the cabin highlights a Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system with 20 speakers and a 1,475-watt enhancer for top-notch sound quality.
The XM Label is fueled by the M Hybrid system, combining an electric motor with a V8 combustion engine. Together, they deliver an impressive 737 bhp and 1,000 Nm of torque. The combustion motor alone produces 577 bhp and 280 Nm. Its 25.7 kW high-voltage lithium-ion battery offers an all-electric range of 76 to 82 km.
This plug-in hybrid SUV can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. The best speed is electronically capped at 250 km/h, which can be extended to 290 km/h with the optional M Driver’s Package. The exclusive Boost Mode on the left move paddle further upgrades the sporty driving experience, and the V8 engine conveys a signature exhaust note. When driving in electric mode, the BMW IconicSounds Electric gives a special acoustic experience.
Cutting-Edge Technology
The BMW XM Label is packed with advanced innovation. The ConnectedDrive framework offers highlights like Real-time Traffic Information, Digital Key Plus, Remote Services via the MyBMW app, and Emergency Call.
The BMW Live Cockpit Professional includes a 12.3-inch Digital Information Display, a 14.9-inch BMW Curved Display, and a head-up display. The most recent BMW Operating System 8.5 permits for control of different vehicle functions through touch or voice commands.
A complimentary BMW Wallbox charger is included, enabling safe and convenient home charging. Additional EfficientDynamics technologies include hybrid-specific auto start-stop, electric power steering, efficiency-optimized all-wheel drive, and active air flap control.
Security Features
The BMW XM Label is equipped with an extensive array of safety features, including Antilock Braking Framework (ABS), six airbags, M Sport differential networked with Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), M Dynamic Mode (MDM), and Attentiveness Assistance. Other safety systems include Active Roll Stabilization with Active Roll Comfort, Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
