At an initial price of Rs 64.90 lakh, BMW today introduced the all-new Z4 Roadster in India. The BMW Z4 Roadster has been launched as a CBU (Completely Built-Up Unit) variant at all company dealerships in India.
Both the BMW Z4 sDrive20i and the BMW Z4 M40i, the BMW M Performance variant, are available for the BMW Z4 Roadster. A 2-liter, inline, 4-cylinder petrol engine with 197 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque powers the BMW Z4 sDrive20i. It has a 6.6-second 0-100 kmph acceleration time. The 3-liter, 6-cylinder in-line engine in the BMW Z4 M40i generates 340 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, and it has a 0-100 kmph time of 4.5 seconds. An 8-speed Steptronic Sport gearbox is available for both engines.
Features including auto start-stop, ECO PRO mode, brake energy regeneration, 50:50 weight distribution, and lightweight design are included with the BMW Z4 Roadster. To accommodate various driving circumstances, the driver may select from a variety of driving modes like ECOPRO, COMFORT, SPORT, and SPORT+.
The BMW Z4 Roadster is equipped with front and side airbags for the driver and passenger, ABS with brake assist, DSC (Dynamic Stability Control), CBC (Cornering Brake Control), side-impact protection, an electronic vehicle immobilizer, and crash sensor, among additional safety functions.
The Alpine White non-metallic paint as well as metallic paint colours like Black Sapphire, Glacier Silver, and San Francisco Red are both offered for the BMW Z4 sDrive20i and BMW Z4 M40i.
