Bajaj Auto launches electric 'Chetak' scooter in India toda

Bajaj Auto has launched the updated 'Bajaj Chetak electric scooter' at a starting price of Rs 1,15,001,(ex-showroom, New Delhi) lineup with the 2024 iterations of the Chetak Urbane and the Chetak Premium 2024. With this recent update, these scooters can now be outfitted with the new optional TecPac package, which includes several new features. According to the official website, Chetak is available in three models – Chetak Urbane (2024), Chetak Premium (2024) and Chetak Premium

Since its launch in January 2020, Bajaj Auto has sold over 100,000 units of the Chetak electric scooter in India.

What are the new Bajaj Chetak 2024 features?

Display and Smart key fob

The Chetak Premium has an all-new 5-inch TFT display screen. It is available with an additional TecPac and includes more features such as turn-by-turn navigation, music control, call management and a special hill hold mode. It also gets a reverse mode as well. Riders can find vehicles within a 30-meter radius for quick and convenient access with the smart key fob.

Speed and Performance

The new 3.2kWh battery gives the 2024 Chetak a claimed range of 127km (ARAI certified). It claims a top speed of 73kmph. The Chetak Premium includes an 800W charger. like the previous one, the new Chetak has an all-metal body and is water-resistant to IP67 with electrical components. To keep better storage it also has larger boot. Additionally, Bajaj Auto has also equipped a 'Green Score' to the Chetak, allowing riders to track their carbon footprint, fuel consumption, and monetary savings.

The 2024 Bajaj Chetak electric scooter prices (ex-showroom, New Delhi) are listed below for each variant. Chetak offers a warranty of 50000 km or 3 years (whichever comes earlier) on the product and the Lithium-ion battery.
