World's fastest zipline and an 85-year old woman is riding it

The longest and fastest zip line in Europe can be found in Penrhyn Slate Quarry in Wales.

By riding the "world's fastest" zip line, 85-year-old Cheshire, UK resident Sally Webster set a new standard.

Sally Webster went down the 500 feet-tall, 1.5 km-long zip line with her daughter Juliet.

“Wow! Doing the zipline today really made me feel alive. I was nervous at first but so excited. I never thought at my age I’d see myself at the top of Snowdonia – never mind ziplining down it! The best part was getting to do the zipline together with my daughter," Webster told The Independent.

It shows that age is not necessarily a barrier to adventure and trying new things. While it is important to always prioritize safety and take precautions, it is never too late to challenge oneself and try something new. The woman's experience also highlights the accessibility of the zipline and the efforts of the operators to make it an enjoyable and safe experience for people of all ages and abilities.
