Russia is going to ease on visa procedures for India and other 6 countries

According to Deputy Foreign Minister Evgeny Ivanov, who was quoted on Sunday by the state-run TASS news agency, Russia is working on easing visa requirements for six nations.

India, Syria, and Indonesia are among the six nations with which Russia intends to streamline visa regulations.

The Deputy Foreign Minister stated, "In addition to India, we are working on draft inter-government agreements that imply mutual simplification of the visa regime with Angola, Vietnam, Indonesia, Syria, and the Philippines."

In the past, Ivanov made it abundantly clear that Russia is in the process of negotiating visa-free travel agreements with 11 nations, including Mexico, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, the Bahamas, Barbados, Haiti, Zambia, Kuwait, and Zambia.

The move is anticipated to encourage more Indians to visit Russia for tourism, study, and business, as well as to improve relations between the two nations, as the current visa process for Indians to visit Russia is lengthy and complicated.
