Since Threads launched, it has grabbed the traffic of over 30 million people in just 18 hours. But everyone is talking about the competition between Thread and Twitter. People have different opinions on it. Some say this is not a long-running race, but some see potential in Threads to overcome Twitter. With all these discussions going on, Musk has taken an interesting step.
Musk sent an official letter to Mark Zuckerberg saying he will take legal action against Meta’s Threads as Mark Zuckerberg has copied his social media app. Twitter blamed that someone from Twitter, a former employee, had helped Zuckerberg with the creation of Threads. Yet, Meta hasn’t replied to the email officially, but Meta’s communicator said that no one from a former employee of Twitter is in our team and no one has helped us. Within a day, Threads has been created its image as a Twitter killing app.
Threads have another feature of linking Instagram accounts to Threads. So, a similar follower base you get on Threads. Threads is indeed a friendly platform and has no restrictions on users. On other sites, Twitter is putting lots of limitations on its users, which has created a kind of negative image of Musk.
On the launch and tremendous success Threads has gained, Musk said, “competition is fine but cheating is not.” This Threads VS Twitter war is going to be long-lasting.
