Mark Zuckerberg posts a Spiderman meme in his first tweet in a decade

Meta’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg's twit, after 11 years, is trending everywhere. He last tweeted in 2012.Today, 6 July, Meta launched its new platform, Threads, early in the morning. Thread is an alternative to Twitter. To make this announcement on Twitter, Mark tweeted a famous Spiderman meme where a Spiderman is pointing to another Spiderman.  The meme was a clear picture of Threads and Meta facing each other.

Threads is going to be the biggest competitor for Twitter. It attracted nearly 5 million users in just 4 hours of its launch. It resembles Twitter but it also has the best features of Instagram. Users can post photos and videos and it has a limit of 500 characters. Threads’ vision is to create an open, friendly space for public conversation.

Gradually, Zuckerberg will move to make Threads a public conversation platform with more than 1 billion people. Twitter missed this opportunity, so now there are high chances that Zuckerberg will grab it.

Twitter has been going through lots of changes since Elon Musk acquired it in October 2022. Recently, Musk put restrictions on the number of tweets a user can see in a day. Though this step has been taken to restrict data scraping, it may create a win-win situation for Zuckerberg.
