Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Download the JioThings app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and install it.
2. Login or register on JioThings using your Jio number. Then click on the “+” sign and select JioMotive.
3. Enter the IMEI number from the Jiomotive window or the device itself and click Continue.
4. Provide details of your vehicle such as registration number, give its name, make, model, fuel type, and year of manufacture and save it.
5. Connect your JioMotive device to the OutBound Dialer (OBD) port of your car. Start your car by following these steps. Make sure your car is located in a location with a good Jio network.
6. Agree to the terms of the JioEverywhereConnect number-sharing plan and click “Enable”.
7. Select “JioJCR1440” and click “Continue” on the next screen.
8. You will receive a message confirming that the activation request has been received by Jio.
9. Leave the car turned on for 10 minutes to allow the device to work. Your data will start showing up on the JioThings app in about an hour.
