A ChatGPT-powered WhatsApp chatbot is reportedly being developed by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) to assist Indian farmers in learning about various government programs. The WhatsApp chatbot is being tested by a small team at MeitY called Bhashini, according to The Indian Express. The chatbot is powered by OpenAI's ChatGPT.
The Government of India is taking a major step towards artificial intelligence (AI) by integrating ChatGPT with Whatsapp. As part of this effort, the government is hoping to use AI-based chatbot technology to help citizens access government schemes more easily and quickly.
The aim of the project is to allow citizens to access government schemes and services through chatbot technology and Whatsapp.
