Elon Musk's Neuralink Receives FDA Approval for Human Brain Implant Research

While technology is working faster than what humans were expecting, there is one more miracle of linking the brain to the computer. Our brain can now work with collaboration of chips. Elon Musk's company Neuralink got approval from the Food and Drug Administration, US for brain implants.

Through this process, a microchip will get fit into the human brain through surgery. This chip can be processed without a man saying any words. That means the chip can interpret human thinking and send commands accordingly. Basically, there will be AI technology in the brain. Elon Musk said that this is going to help many people in the world, especially those who are paralysed, blind and people with other disabilities. Neuralink tested this brain implant on a monkey, which could later type things and move the cursor easily. Now, as the FDA has approved the plant, soon there will be the launch of the first in-human clinic study.

The priority line of this product says that safety, reliability and accessibility are the concerns. But it will still need a lot of testing to check the effectiveness and long term sustainability of the chip and also to check the coming ethical problems.

Is it really worth using this technology, looking at the long term effects? What if the computer dominates the human brain and activities? What if they become superior to human beings? Questions are a lot but the result can only provide better answers.
