Google this week released Android 14's first public beta. However, starting with the Pixel 4a (5G), Beta 1 is only accessible to owners of Pixel smartphones.
In February, Google made the Android 14 Developer Preview build available. To enable developers to adapt their apps and services for the future Android OS upgrade, Google releases this version each year. The Android 14 has already passed the preview stage and reached Beta 1, allowing early adopters to try it before it is made available to the general public.
The final stable version of Android OS will be followed by a series of beta releases up until July 2023, as per Google's release schedule.
Probably not all of the features that will be included in Android 14's stable build are included in this version of the program.
At the Google I/O 2023 conference this year, Google will present the Android 14 OS's core features. However, the tech giant revealed that the next OS will include new personalization options, improved security settings, and various UI modifications, including the addition of a back arrow. Additionally, the OS will let programs add their own unique actions to the system share sheets they activate.
