In Bengaluru, Karnataka, from August 10 to 12, Muddanahalli will host the India Startup Festival (ISF). The Indian Startup Foundation, which is hosting the event, wants to link startup founders with other entrepreneurs and investors. The second iteration, emphasising rural innovation and empowerment, will run from August 10 to 12. Around 500 investors are anticipated, and more than 10,000 businesses from Japan, the UK, and India will take part. The ISF wants to allow entrepreneurs to realise their full potential by fostering a startup environment and empowering them.
The top 10 startups will be given financial prizes and coaching from business gurus in their respective industries. By developing leaders in agriculture, food security, and skill development, the festival seeks to reduce problems in rural India and encourage rural business. More than 2,000 companies attended the ISF's inaugural event last year. Among the visitors are Madhusudan Sai, Meenakshi Lekhi, Priyank Kharge, and N. S. Boseraju, the minister of minor irrigation for the Karnataka Water Resources Department.
