- The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and Microsoft have announced a collaboration on Thursday.
- Microsoft will onboard space tech start-ups chosen by ISRO onto its Microsoft for Startups Founder Hub’ platform to support the journey from idea to unicorn.
- ISRO Chairman, S Somanath has stated that the collaboration will greatly benefit space tech startups.
- The collaboration with Microsoft will make its tools and resources accessible to the space tech startups but they need to execute their business by themselves.
- The accessible tools include tech support on Azure, GitHub Enterprise, Visual Studio Enterprise, Microsoft 365 and analytic support from Dynamics 365 and Power BI.
- ISRO and Microsoft will also provide training in leadership and knowledge sharing for the startups.
