PV Sindhu, who is considered one of the most successful badminton players in India, has parted ways with her Coach, Park Tae-Sang. They started their partnership in the World Championship 2019. He was first hired by the Badminton Association of India as the men's singles coach of the team but later started to coach her.
She has been under his guidance for 4 years now. She won the title at the Swiss Open badminton and also Syed Modi badminton in 2019. She also won the World Championships gold, the Tokyo Olympics bronze, and the Commonwealth Games gold.
After four years, she finally decided to have a change. She has decided to get a new coach because of her drought of wins in 2023. After she injured her ankle in mid-2022, she couldn’t play at the World Championship in Tokyo. Even after her recovery, she has lost multiple matches.
Park Tae-Sang, who hails from South Korea, returned back to his country and has decided to take care of his ailing father.
He said that he will now support PV Sindhu from afar. He only has good wishes for her.
