The Prime Minister warmly commended their remarkable record-breaking performance, equating the 111 medals to fulfilling 140 crore dreams.
He took the time to contemplate the recent sports accomplishments of India, highlighting victories at the World Athletics Championship and the Asian Games. He emphasized the significant impact that these triumphs have, not only in the realm of sports but also in one's overall life.

He acknowledged the growing recognition of sports as a profession and attributed it to the government's athlete-centric approach, which includes investments in infrastructure, coaching, and financial aid.
The Prime Minister praised the athletes for their remarkable perseverance in conquering obstacles and acknowledged their ability to inspire society. Additionally, he provided reassurance of ongoing government assistance and encouraged them to continue bringing pride to the nation.
In conclusion, he emphasized the nation's strong determination to consistently advance, with the goal of becoming one of the top 3 economies by the end of the decade and achieving a fully developed India by 2047.

India achieved an impressive total of 111 medals, including 29 gold medals, in the Asian Para Games 2022. This outstanding performance marked a significant 54% increase compared to their previous best in 2018, and the number of gold medals won nearly doubled from the previous edition.
