Pro rally driver and YouTube Ken Block was killed in a snowmobile accident on Monday, as per reports received from his team Hoonigan Racing Division, formerly known as the Monster World Rally Team.
Block was known for his Gymkhana series of viral videos, in which he performed various stunts and tricks with his car, and for his participation in rally racing events around the world. Block was also a successful businessman, and his company, Hoonigan Industries, produces a range of apparel and accessories for motorsports and action sports enthusiasts.
Block rose to fame online for his daring driving stunts.
The incident occurred in Wasatch County, Utah. Although he was travelling in a group, the 55-year-old was by himself when the accident occurred. He was declared dead on the spot.
