The Group B of the FIFA World Cup comes to an end as England and USA qualify. England finish top of the table with 2 wins in the bag and a draw, while USA finish 2nd.
The last day of the group was filled with drama as all teams were eligible for qualification.
England faced Wales at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium and had a comfortable 3-0 win over them as the two Golden boys of Manchester Phil Foden and Marcus Rashford made their important contributions to send Gareth Bale`s Wales back home. Phil Foden who started for the first time this world cup scored at the 51st minute following a Goal by Marcus Rashford who scored at the 50th minute to give the three lions the Lead. Later Rashford scored again at the 68th minute to seal the win for England with his 3rd goal of the Tournament to make the score 3-0.
USA will play their first Round of 16 game after playing Belgium back in 2014.
USA punched their ticket to the Round of 16 in the 38th minute against Iran when Chelsea player and USA captain Christian Pulisic scored. From there the tight defense line made it possible for them to advance to the next round. USA will play Netherlands on the 3rd of December while Table toppers England will face Senegal on the 5th of December.
