According to Kedar Jadhav's complaint, his father suffers from dementia, claimed a representative of Alankar police station. Police said the complaint was lodged after cricketer Kedar Jadhav's father Mahadev Jadhav went missing from his home in Pune early on Monday morning.
According to the complaint of the missing person, Kedar and his father Mahadev live in the Kothrud district of Pune. A missing person's complaint has been filed and efforts are being made to locate Mahadev Jadhav, the official said.
“Mahadev Jadhav went missing when he left home for his morning walk. He left the gate of the apartment complex and has not been seen since," the source said.
According to the missing report, Mahadev Jadhav was 5 feet 6 inches tall, had a surgical scar on the left side of his face and was wearing a white shirt, gray pants , black pants, socks and glasses. He speaks Marathi and has two gold rings on his right fingers. But his mobile phone was missing.
"My father Mahadev Jadhav (75) has been away from home since 11:45 am. I live in Kothrud near City Pride Theater with my father and mother Mandakin (65). He walked around our parking lot for a bit before abruptly walking out the gate. We tried to find him, but we could not find him, so I am filing this missing person's complaint,” said Kedar.
Since 2007, Kedar Jadhav has competed in 73 one-day internationals for India while playing for the Maharashtra Ranji team.
