Cr7 finally signs with Saudi club, Al-Nassr

After much speculation, Cristiano Ronaldo has finally completed his move to Saudi club Al- Nassr on a two-year deal worth over €200 million. The move will likely fuel the debate about Saudi Arabia using “sportswashing” to boost its image internationally. Al Nassr made the announcement on Twitter, saying “History in the making. This is a signing that will not only inspire our club to achieve even greater success but inspire our league, our nation and future generations, boys and girls to be the best version of themselves.”

The signing also ends Ronaldo's month-long free agent status, which came after he parted ways with Manchester United in November following an outburst in which he criticized the team for trying to force him out last summer.

Cristiano Ronaldo is widely considered one of the greatest soccer players of all time and has won numerous awards and accolades for his performances on the field. Ronaldo began his career as a professional soccer player with Sporting Lisbon in Portugal and has since played for several top clubs, including Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus. He has won numerous domestic and international titles, including the English Premier League, the Spanish La Liga, and the Italian Serie A.

Ronaldo has also won the Ballon d'Or, an annual award given to the best soccer player in the world, a record five times.
