An Argentine farmer, Maximiliano Spinazze, has planted a specially designed corn field in Los Condores, in the Cordoba province of Argentina, to create an image of Lionel Messi visible from space. The likeness of the football superstar was created by precision planting using a special algorithm. Carlos Faricelli, a farming engineer, designed the coding for the machines sowing the seeds that made Messi’s face appear on the field.
"The idea was a tribute from the agricultural world to Messi, whether he won the World Cup or not -- which thank God he did!" he said.
"It's an agricultural 'tattoo'," said Faricelli.
