Anshul Jubli, a 27-year-old Indian fighter from Uttarkashi, became only the second Indian after Bharat Khandare to win a UFC contract. Jubli won a fight in round 2 by technical knockout and is now 7-0 as a professional.
He achieved this feat at the Road to UFC final in Las Vegas on Sunday and is now on a seven-match winning streak. Jubli wants to keep getting better and wants to be the best in the world. Anshul Jubli, also known as the "King of Lions," is the son of a retired Border Security Force (BSF) officer and a native of Bhatwari village near Uttarkashi. Due to his father's transfer, he spent his childhood in many states.
After a lengthy period of relocation, his family finally settled in Dehradun. His friend's older brother first introduced him to mixed martial arts and the UFC in 2015.
Anshul Jubli obtained a bye in the first round when his fellow opponent missed weight and then he knocked out South Korea’s Kyung Pyo Kim by winning it in a split decision.
