Revolver Rani: India's 1st long-range swing revolver launched

The first long-range side-swing revolver in the nation, known as the "Prabal," was introduced by the state-owned company Advanced Weapons and Equipment India (AWEIL). The revolver, made in Kanpur, has a firing range of up to 50 metres, more than doubling that of other revolvers currently being produced. Targets up to 50 metres away can be hit precisely by a revolver with a.32 barrel.

Incorporating a side swing-out cylinder eliminates the need to fold the gun to insert a cartridge, streamlining the reloading procedure and improving user ease, which distinguishes Prabal from its competitors. The single- and double-action revolver has a chrome-plated barrel length of 76 mm and an overall length of 187.7 mm, and it weighs 675 grammes (without cartridges). Given that it provides a long-range option for pistols, Prabal's introduction is crucial for both citizens and arms merchants.
