The Indian Army is looking for people to join the NCC Special Entry 55 Course, which will start in April 2024. Those who are eligible can apply online through the Join the Indian Army site. With the help of this hiring drive, 55 positions will be filled in the organisation. The process of signing up began on July 5 and will be over on August 3, 2023.
Required Level of Education
For NCC "C" Certificate Holders: Candidates must have a degree from a recognised university or the equivalent, and they must have gotten a total of at least 50% on all of their exams over the years. Those in their last year of school can also apply, as long as they have gotten at least 50% in the first two or three years of a three- or four-year degree programme.
For Wards of Battle Casualties of Indian Army Personnel: Applicants must have a degree from a recognised university or a similar institution, and they must have gotten a total of at least 50% on all their exams over the years.
The candidates must be between the ages of 19 and 25 on January 1, 2023, which means they were born between January 2, 1999, and January 1, 2005.
Process of Selection
Applications may be selected for shortlisting by the Integrated Headquarters of the Ministry of Defence (Army), with no justification given. At the selection centres in Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Bangalore (Karnataka), and Jalandhar (Punjab), only the shortlisted eligible candidates will participate in the SSB. The selection process for candidates will involve two stages. Stage II will be open to those who pass Stage I. They will be sent back the same day if they don't pass Stage 1. According to the marks the candidate received at the SSB interview, a merit list would be created.
Details of the job: NCC men have 50 jobs, and NCC women have 5 jobs.
