In this competitive world, everyone is striving hard to achieve their career goals and secure their future. Employers often consider people with work experience. As a result, fresh graduates deal with having fewer opportunities open for them.  Hence, taking up internships while studying will be beneficial for students. As an intern, you get hands-on experience and more practical knowledge which is helpful to know if you want to choose this field for your future.

Getting internships in renowned companies can be difficult. But Tata Group Companies have made their selection criteria very simple.  Here are three ways how you can apply for an internship at Tata Companies-

1. Through the official website.

Firstly, search for Tata’s official site for an internship. From here, there is a 3-step process:

i. Fill out the application form: You need to make sure all your details are filled in correctly. Attach your resume and personal statement which states why you are fit for the job/position. Mention your interests and achievements so they can select you in that category.

ii. Asynchronous video interview: In the second step, applicants can select their time slot according to their convenience. While giving this interview, the questions will be popped on the screen and the candidate will get a set amount of time to prepare and answer the question.

iii. Interviews: The last and final interview will be held with key business leaders from the group. You can ask your queries in this step.

2. Job portals

You can follow Tata Group Companies' updates and check for updates on various job portals like LinkedIn, Indeed, Naukri.com, etc. There you can apply for the vacancy with your preferable location, job position, period, etc.

3. Campus Recruitment

Tata recruits students through campus placements as well. The only downside for an average student is that students are selected through their GPA.

These are the ways to apply for a company that’s been respected for 150 years and is continuing its rank way above. For all the students seeking internships, we wish you luck and success.
