Maternity benefits may include:

Unpaid maternity leave (time off work without pay, which may be available to women who do not have sufficient paid leave or who have used up all of their paid leave)
Maternity pay (financial assistance provided to women during their maternity leave, either as a percentage of their salary or as a flat rate)
Medical benefits (coverage for medical expenses related to pregnancy and childbirth, such as prenatal care, delivery costs, and postpartum care).
Maternity benefits vary by country and by employer and may also depend on an individual's length of service, job classification, and other factors.
