David Balogun, a nine-year-old from Pennsylvania, recently became one of the youngest high school graduates in history. Balogun now ranks among the youngest children who have ever graduated from high school, according to a list by oldest.org.
Nine-year-old David Balogun has recently graduated from high school, becoming the second youngest person known to do so. David has already finished one semester of community college after taking his classes remotely for a few years as his parents search the country for the best college for him to continue on the path to success.
David is said to be a talented pianist and member of Mensa, a prestigious high-IQ group. His parents insist that raising a young genius isn't without its challenges, and his mother Ronya has had to "get outside of the box" in her attempts to bring David up.
David's graduation marks him as the second youngest to ever achieve a high school diploma, although he is a full three years off from beating the unbelievable record set by Michael Kearney, who became the youngest ever high school graduate over three decades ago when he gained his diploma in 1990 aged just six.
