Trump set to surrender on Thursday for Georgia election fraud charges

Donald Trump, a former US president, announced that he would surrender on Thursday in the Georgia Election Fraud Case. On social media, the impeached president announced his intention of turning himself in.

Donald Trump announced that he would be "ARRESTED by a Radical Left District Attorney, Fani Willis" on Truth Social. The fourth indictment against Trump for the year was filed by Georgian official Fani Willis.

Trump's legal issues continue to grow, but he maintains his agenda against the Biden Administration and that all legal actions are an attempt by the White House to prevent him from running second term as president.

In his post, Trump added that Fani Willis is acting "in strict coordination with Crooked Joe Biden's DOJ. It is about ELECTION INTERFERENCE."

Judge Willis had previously made the bail bond announcement and set the amount at $200,000. All 18 co-defendants are anticipated to surrender along with the former president.

In addition to the bond amount, the terms set by Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee have been approved by the prosecutor's and Trump's attorneys.

Judge McAfee in a three-age court filing, stated, "The Defendant shall perform no act to intimidate any person known to him or her to be a codefendant or witness in this case or to otherwise obstruct the administration of justice. The above shall include, but are not limited to, posts on social media or reposts of posts made by another individual on social media."

The bail bond for John Eastman and Kennet Chesebro, two of Donald Trump's campaign lawyers, has been set up at $100,000.

Trump was charged in Georgia with racketeering and attempting to rig the state's 2020 election results. Mark Meadows, Trump's chief of staff, and Rudy Giuliani, a former client of the president, are also accused of conspiring. March 4, 2024, could be the date that will be selected for this trial.
