The deal of the Rouge countries: Kim Jong Un & Vladimir Putin join hands

President Vladimir Putin has invited the leader of North Korea, Kim Jong Un, to visit Russia. According to commentators, this meeting could result in important military agreements for both countries.

After South Korean media reported that Kim appeared to have boarded a special armored train headed for Russia on Monday, the statement was made.

There have been increasing rumors in recent weeks that Kim, who hasn't traveled since the coronavirus pandemic began and rarely travels to North Korea, was getting ready to meet with the leader of Russia, which is mired in an 18-month conflict in Ukraine.

Putin is expected to speak on Tuesday at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, a port city in Russia. In April 2019, Kim and Putin had a meeting there.

The meeting between Kim and Putin will be discussed as part of continuing negotiations regarding arms sales between the two nations, according to a recent statement by US National Security Council spokesperson Adrienne Watson.

"As we have warned publicly, arms negotiations between Russia and the DPRK are actively advancing,” Watson said, using an acronym for the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the official name of North Korea.

Plans for an arms agreement have been vigorously refuted by both Pyongyang and Moscow.

According to the White House, Russia is allegedly looking to purchase a variety of weapons and supplies for its conflict in Ukraine.

According to commentators, North Korea may have tens of millions of artillery shells and rockets built to Soviet specifications, which may give the Russian army a significant advantage.

According to observers, Kim could demand advanced weapons technologies, such as those connected to intercontinental ballistic missiles, nuclear-capable ballistic missile submarines, and military reconnaissance satellites, in exchange for much-needed energy and food supplies.
