Bahrain urged its people to leave Lebanon on Saturday "for their own safety" hours after Saudi Arabia did the same without stating a reason.
After days of bloodshed between militants from Islamic groups and members of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah group in Lebanon's largest Palestinian refugee camp, the two Gulf countries made their decision.
Thirteen people have died and many have been injured as a result of the four days of fighting in Ein el-Hilweh camp near the southern port city of Sidon.
Bahrain's Foreign Ministry advised Bahrainis to follow previous directives from the government to refrain from visiting Lebanon.
Late Friday night, the Saudi embassy in Beirut published a message on X, formerly known as Twitter, urging its residents to stay away from and avoid going to the areas where there are "armed conflicts" and to leave Lebanon as soon as possible.
