Red panda escapes Newquay Zoo, decides to walk around the town

The state animal of Sikkim, the Red Panda, which is prominently found in the forests of India, China, Bhutan, Myanmar and Nepal, looks like a little tiny cat. One such red panda named ‘Sundara’ was found wandering on the streets of a town in England when he ran out from Newquay Zoo. Panda was exploring the city like a free life in the world.

Workers from a veggie shop saw the Sundara and immediately called the police to rescue her. For that particular period, that panda went to the ground in front of the store. Workers tried to keep her busy till the police came. That was the first time, someone called the police to rescue an animal. But they did it successfully.

Then they called the zoo authorities and now Sundara is back in her place with another red panda, Seren, in the Zoo.
