According to Nikolai Patrushev, the secretary of Russia's Security Council, Vladimir Putin will visit Beijing in October to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping, according to a report from Interfax.
At a meeting in Moscow with China's top diplomat, Wang Yi, Patrushev said, "In October, we look forward to thorough bilateral talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing,"
According to Patrushev, Putin will participate in a forum in Beijing on China's Belt and Road Initiative.
