Cabinet member for leisure and community, Councillor Tony Higgins said speaking to BBC that the recent years have been difficult for everyone. And they have been especially difficult for those who have lost a loved one and were not able to say goodbye. The gardens at Walton Hall have acted as a tranquil setting for people to visit and reflect on past memories.
He added that he hopes the gardens will become a loved setting. And hopes that the garden is filled with wildflowers and a place where nature can thrive.
