Nepal jolted by 4.8 and 5.9 magnitude quakes

On Friday, Nepal was hit by two earthquakes, measuring 4.8 and 5.9 on the Richter Scale, with both epicentres located in Bajura’s Dahakot, as reported by the National Center for Seismology. The first quake, measuring 4.9 magnitude, hit at 11:58 pm (local time), followed by a second earthquake, measuring 5.9 magnitude, at 1:30 am. Rajesh Sharma, an official working at the Seismological Center located in Nepal's Surkhet District, has informed the ANI news agency that an earthquake has taken place. The local police have reported that there are no current records of any fatalities resulting from the incident.
