The entire French nation is in shock as a brutal killing incident happened on 8th June put a child and an adult in a life-threatening situation. A 31-year-old Syrian stabbed 4 toddlers and 2 adults at a park in Annecy. All the victims are hospitalized and the accused person is in police custody.
The accused is said to be a refugee from Sweden. But there was no such background of terrorism and no clarification about the intentions of the killer. One of the children is British and another one is Dutch, aged between 1 and 3 years.
The park where the incident happened is actually a very crowded place. The killer jumped into the park from over a wall with a knife in his right hand. Witnesses said that the killer clearly lunged at the babies. Yet no clear information has been given by the police and the case is under investigation.
