In Mexico, a guy has been detained for the most heinous of crimes. The self-described "devil worshipper" allegedly consumed tacos made from his wife's brain and then used her skull as an ashtray. According to the victim's relatives, he was a drug and alcohol addict who frequently beat his wife.
Man kills wife, eats her brain
According to a source, Alvaro, 32, was taken into custody on July 2 from the couple's Puebla residence. Alvaro, a builder by trade, was then charged with killing his wife Maria Montserrat Animas Montiel on July 29. Maria is also a mother to five children. According to reports, the individual committed the heinous deed while under the influence of a drug that was against the law.
Devil ordered him to commit the crime
The guy allegedly claimed to police that Santa Muerte, also known as Our Lady of Holy Death, and the devil himself had instructed him to conduct the act during questioning. The guy reportedly dissected the woman after killing her and put her body pieces in plastic bags. He kept the remainder of the bags inside the property and dumped some of them into the ravine behind the house.
Ate wife’s brains
According to informed sources, Alvaro admitted to using a piece of his wife's fractured skull as an ashtray and consuming a portion of her brain in tacos.
The man confessed to the murder
What makes the case even more intriguing is the fact that he contacted one of his stepdaughters to confess his murder two days after killing his wife. According to the victim's mother, who was mentioned by the local media, Alvaro instructed one of her daughters to come to get the lady he had "already killed" and "put her in bags." He admitted to murdering her, dismembering her, and claiming she wasn't tortured.
