The police reported that an individual was taken into custody on Tuesday outside Buckingham Palace in London, for throwing suspected shotgun cartridges into the palace grounds. This occurred four days before the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.The authorities confirmed that they are not considering this incident terror-related, and there have been no accounts of shots being fired or anyone, either police or civilians, being hurt.

As per the Metropolitan Police, the suspect was taken into custody on suspicion of carrying an offensive weapon, and authorities found a knife in his possession. Additionally, the suspect was carrying a suspicious bag, according to a report from PTI. After the arrest, the police set up a cordon and, as a precaution, specialists carried out a controlled explosion based on their evaluation.BBC reported that the King and Queen Consort were not present at Buckingham Palace during the time when the man was taken into custody.
