Pakistan has been struck by two separate suicide blasts, leading to the loss of lives and injuries in two different regions of the country. The first blast occurred in Balochistan, where a powerful suicide explosion devastated a gathering during the celebration of Eid Miladun Nabi, the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad. As a result of this blast, 52 people have lost their lives, and more than 50 others have sustained injuries. The explosion took place near the Madina Mosque on Al Falah Road in the Mastung district.

A few hours later, a second blast occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Hangu city. This attack resulted in the tragic deaths of at least three individuals, with five others sustaining injuries. The incident took place at a mosque in the city.
As of now, no group has come forward to claim responsibility for these devastating attacks, leaving authorities and the public searching for answers. Following the blasts, emergency measures have been implemented, and authorities are working diligently to investigate the incidents. The injured are receiving medical care, with concerns that the casualty count may increase as more information becomes available.
Mastung, the site of the first blast, has unfortunately been a target of terror attacks over the past few years. In July 2018, one of the deadliest attacks in the district's history occurred, resulting in the loss of at least 128 lives. The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, an umbrella group of several terrorist outfits, claimed responsibility for this attack, signalling a wave of violence across the country.
Further updates are awaited.
