The Ocean Explorer, a luxury ship was traveling with 206 passengers to the Greenland National Park when it ran aground above the Arctic Circle near Alpefjord.
The ship and passengers aboard all escaped unharmed after being stuck for 3 days.
After 2 unsuccessful attempts to free the boat the Joint Arctic Command, which is part of Denmark's defense force announced on the 14th that the Ocean Explorer was pulled free at high tide in Greenland.
The ship is operated by Australia-based cruise company Aurora Expeditions and is 343-foot long and 60-foot wide.
Although it is unclear why the ship ran aground, reports say that no passenger was harmed.
