Grimes, the mother of three of Elon Musk's children, is taking legal action to establish a parental relationship with one of their kids. Although the details of the lawsuit are confidential, it is believed to revolve around their youngest child, Tau, as Grimes has mentioned that Musk has not allowed her to see one of their children.
Last month, Grimes posted on the platform X (formerly known as Twitter) that she was pursuing legal action against Musk and appealed for his cooperation. The lawsuit, filed on September 29th in California, aims to legally define the child's parents in cases where the parents are unmarried.
This type of legal action can also be used to request child support, pregnancy-related expenses, and custody. It's worth noting that Grimes has not requested custody or child support at this time, though it's speculated that it could be a possibility in the future. As of now, Musk has not responded to the reports.
Musk and Grimes welcomed their first son in 2020, had a daughter via surrogate in 2021, and had a third child in 2022, as revealed in a biography of Musk by Walter Isaacson. In 2021, Musk had twins with Shivon Zilis, an executive at Neuralink, without informing Grimes about their birth, as disclosed in the same biography.
