‘Strom Daniel’ which has battered Greece for 3 continuous days has caused 15 deaths and multiple damages.
Greek rescue teams found 4 more dead bodies making the overall death toll to be 15. Although reports have also said that 2 other people are missing.
The 3 days continuous rainstorm started after the end of the hottest summer on record which caused a series of deadly wildfires.
The storm has caused devastation as many bridges collapsed, schools, roads, and power poles were destroyed, animals drowned and crops destroyed.
According to WWF, about 850,000 hectares of land have been flooded, and more than 4,250 people have been evacuated from the flood-ridden areas.
Rescue operations are still ongoing and it has been estimated that the cost of repair is more than 1 billion euros
