An Aerogulf helicopter crashed into the sea while two pilots were onboard. The helicopter is said to have taken off from Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai.
The helicopter of Aerogulf, Bell 212, crashed into the Gulf Sea while the pilots were on a night training trip. Two pilots of South African and Egyptian nationalities were aboard the helicopter.
The authority received a crash report from the Air Accident Investigation Department around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday night. The air accident investigation team has moved to the site and has recovered the wreckage, and the search and rescue of the pilots is underway.
