44 dead, over 200 injured in Pakistan suicide bombing in political rally

A total of 44 people died and more than 200 sustained serious injuries in an attack carried out by a suicide bomber in Bajur district of Pakistan on July 30.

There was a rally conducted by the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam F (JUI-F) party in Khar town, which is near to the Afghanistan border. There were many party supporters and leaders presented at the rally. It is said that the suicide bomb attack was meant to hurt the JUI-F party, which is part of the coalition government.

The incident was so terrifying. There was blood everywhere and limbs on the ground. People were shifted to the hospital immediately. Many party leaders and the Pakistan PM, Shabaz Sharif, took note of the attack and ordered to provide assistance in all possible ways.

Mr. Abdul Rasheed said that he would ask the federal and provisional governments to conduct an investigation regarding the attack.

Bajur district was once the prominent place of the Pakistani Taliban before Pakistani militants removed them from the area. The Pakistani Taliban put his opinion saying, this attack was aimed to create a miss understanding between Islamists groups. This is the bloodiest attack in Pakistan in recent years.
