UP Govt's Big Decision: Elderly Parents Can Now Evict Abusive Children | Senior Citizen Rules

Are children neglecting or misbehaving with their parents for the sake of property? 🛑 The Uttar Pradesh government has just passed a major amendment to protect senior citizens! 👴👵

Under the newly approved rules by the UP Cabinet, elderly parents can now legally evict their sons, daughters, or dependent relatives from their property if they fail to provide proper care or subject them to abuse or disrespect.

If an elderly person is facing such mistreatment, they can file a complaint directly with the District Magistrate (DM) for swift and strict action. This amendment ensures that children cannot simply claim property rights; they must also fulfill their moral and legal duty to care for and respect their parents.
