10 Killed in Mirzapur

Survivors Injured

Reportedly, all three injured have been admitted at the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) hospital: 18-year-old Aakash, 26-year-old Jamuni, and 50-year-old Ajay Saroj. All are reportedly stable. Post-mortems on the deceased are on.

Once again, such a major accident reminds us of how concern over road safety is growing and, more so, over highways and high-speed driving, and more widespread indulgence in reckless driving. By implication, then, such accidents would help prevent the occurrence of such tragedies following sterner action by law enforcement agencies in enforcing traffic laws.
