An under-construction building at the Kannauj railway station in Uttar Pradesh collapsed on Friday, resulting in a tragic incident that has left around two dozen workers feared trapped beneath the debris. The state government has announced compensation measures, offering Rs 50,000 to those seriously injured and Rs 5,000 for those with minor injuries.
