Mumbai film City - Leopard creates chaos at TV serial set

A leopard and her cub unexpectedly appeared on the sets of the Marathi television programme "Sukh Mhanje Nakki Kay Asta" in Mumbai on Wednesday, sending the cast and staff into a state of chaos and fright.

The terrifying incident, which took place at 4 p.m., was captured on camera. The huge cat was seen strolling around the fly loft of the sets in the footage that quickly became popular. People began running for safety in a panic shortly after that. A few people were able to capture the incident on their phones.

At the location where the wild cat was observed, there were more than 200 people there, according to the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA).

The crew members were terrified and anxious after seeing a leopard, according to AICWA President Suresh Shyamlal Gupta, who spoke to the news agency. He claimed that incidents like this had been occurring more regularly recently and expressed extreme concern over the incident.

The set had almost 200 people, and someone may have died. "The government has not done much about this," added Gupta. This has happened three or four times in the previous 10 days. Gupta criticised the government for failing to prevent leopards from wandering near Film City. He expressed deep concern and threatened to strike if quick action is not taken to protect the thousands of film industry employees and artists.

The incident acts as a warning to the government to act quickly to stop any possible threats caused by wildlife encroachment in the area. The regional authorities haven't made any comments about the situation as of yet.
