Banks will Remain Closed on March 8 and 9 in Most Cities

Various state banks will remain closed on March 7, 8, and 9 on the occasion of the Holi festival. RBI published a list of bank holidays, and according to it, banks will be closed for 12 days countrywide in the month of march.

The following cities will have bank holidays on March 7, 8, and 9.

On March 7, banks will be closed in Belapur, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji, Ranchi, and Srinagar on the occasion of Holi/Holika Dahan/Dhulandi/Dol Jatra, Dhuleti/Yaosang.

Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, and Gangtok will all have bank holidays on March 8.

Banks in Patna will be closed on March 9.
